Lucidchart was developing an online learning center to help users create amazing charts using their popular software. They needed a sound IA and navigation design. This project was presented as an in-course challenge at Utah State University.

Details
After brainstorming potential IA configurations, we used card sorting exercises and our prototype to conduct user testing. Our results provided great reference points on adapting our design to users' needs and preferences. The end design was an intuitive, user-friendly site navigation in the form of a high-fidelity prototype.
Insights
This project taught me the essential need for user testing. Without it, designers are working in their own bubbles with no outside context, and that could make or break the flow of how users find (or don't find!) what they need on a site.
